TAGUIG CITY, March 16 (PIA) – The Philippine National Police Southern Police District (PNP SPD) clarified the issue on the alleged abduction of children in Taguig City.
In a statement, SPD Spokesperson Supt. Jenny Tecson clarified that no abduction and/or kidnapping happened concerning four children who were reportedly missing.
“The kids were scolded by their parents and so they ran away, but the kids are now home with their parents,” said Tecson. She added that Taguig police also accompanied the children.

Tecson also said that the parents are willing to talk to media to clarify the earlier news about the alleged abduction of said children and that there was no call from a grandmother.
Regarding the incident of a missing woman, Tecson added that said woman, who was facing dilemma that time, was also escorted by Taguig police in her hometown in Bicol. (TAGUIG/RJB/JEG/PIA-NCR)
