Cebuano news: DOE nagbisita sa Southern Leyte aron pagpatuman sa programa sa government energy management

MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte, July 2 (PIA) -- Ang Department of Energy (DOE) pinaagi sa iyang Energy Audit Team (EAT) mihimo og walay pagpahibalo nga pagbisita diha sa pinili nga mga ahensiya sa mga national line nga ahensiya nga nakabase sa Southern Leyte aron sa pagpatuman sa Government Energy Management Program (GEMP).

Sa tumong sa pagsulbad sa nagsaka nga presyo sa lana sa tibook kalibotan pinaagi sa pagsunod sa pagsagop sa gobierno sa mga lakang sa pagdaginot, ang duha ka tawo nga Energy Audit Team (EAT) nagpahigayon og sa ka spot check ngadto sa mga pinili nga mga ahensiya sa gobierno aron sa pagpatuman sa GEMP sa probinsya.

"Spot Check is the conduct of an unannounced inspection of any government entity or facility for the purpose of, but not limited to, checking, monitoring and evaluating the energy consumption to verify if the energy conservation and efficiency programs are being implemented,” matud ni EAT member Roland Meneses atoll sa ilang pagbisita ngadto sa PIA-Southern Leyte kaniadtong Huwebes.

Siya usab nagmando sa PIA-SoLeyte sa paghulip sa tanan nga kasamtangan nga mga 40 watts nga mga fluorescent nga suga nga gigamit sa buhatan ngadto sa 36 o 32 watts nga fluorescent lamp (CFL) kon light emitting diodes (LED) bulbs sumala sa gipatuman sa energy measures sa pangagamhanan.

Ang energy department usab nagkinahanglan sa tanan nga mga ahensiya sa gobierno alang sa pagmugna sa ilang kaugalingon nga energy conservation measures nga ilang obserbahan sa ilang tagsa-tagsa nga mga kahimanan sa gobierno, matud niya.

Iya usab nga gi-awhag alang sa epektibo nga paggamit og pagkonserba diha sa gasoline sa mga sakyanan sa gobierno og konsumo sa gasoline nga mga tahu, maingon man.

Ang GEMP gipatuman pinaagi sa mga inter agency nga pakig-koordinasyon sa mosunod nga mga ahensiya sa gobierno: Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the Department of Public Worksand Highways (DPWH), the National Housing Authority (NHA), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Education (DepEd), the Philippine Information Agency-Office of the Press Secretary (PIA-OPS), the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ang tanan nga mga kahimanan sa gobierno diha sa pagpatuman sa GEMP, dugang niyang pahayag (EOPT/Gibinisaya ni ESG/PIA8, SoLeyte)
