MICT suspends terminal operations on Good Friday, April 22

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Misamis Oriental, April 4 (PIA) – The Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, has announced the suspension of its operations during the Lenten Season, this year.

Jose Mari G. Fernandez, MICT Operations Manager, has made the announcement to all Shipping Lines, Container Operators, Brokers and Forwarders, Trucking Companies, Exporters and Importers and all other port users for them to make the necessary adjustments in their schedule during the season.

He said the temporary suspension of terminal operations in MCT will start at 7:00a.m. on Good Friday, April 22, and resumes at 7:00a.m., the following day, Black Saturday, April 23, for the Gate, Container Yard and Vessel Operations.

The temporary suspension of transactions in the billing and documentation sections will also start from 7:00a.m., Good Friday, April 22, and resumes at 7:00a.m., April 23, Black Saturday.

Fernandez said the above schedule is consistent with the temporary suspension of port operations in the Manila South Harbor, Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) and Manila North Harbor.
