DAP to launch its Public Management Dev. Program

QUEZON CITY, May 8 (PIA) -- The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) will formally launch its Public Management Development Program (PMDP) on May 17 at the Executive Function Hall of DAP in Pasig City.

In a release sent to PIA, DAP states that PMDP is an intensive, multi-modal residential training that aims to produce a corps of public managers that embody competence, integrity, and commitment.

The said program is a residential training that will run for about three months to be held at DAP Conference Center in Tagaytay. The training also includes a two-week Sensing Journey in a rural community.

Participants of the said program will receive full government scholarship and will be given a master’s degree title upon completion of the program.

Moreover, the program’s participants underwent a selection process after their nomination from their respected agency heads.

The program’s faculty members are among those experts in the fields of development, leadership and public service.

NEDA Secretary Cayetano W. Paderanga, DOF Secretary Cesar V. Purisima, DBM Secretary Florencio B. Abad, CSC Chair Francisco T. Duque III will be among the special guests of the program launching.

CESB Chair and DAP President Antonio D. Kalaw Jr., CESB ED Anthonette V. Allones, as well as members of the PMDP Inter-agency Steering Committee are expected to attend the event. (DAP/PAE-PIA Central)
