PDEA agents bust pusher in QC
QUEZON CITY, May 18 (PIA) -- The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a suspected drug pusher during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Manresa, Quezon City last May 15.
The 48 year old, male suspect was arrested by elements of PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (PDEA RO-NCR) under Director Pedrito Magsino at the corner of Ragang and Panalturan Streets, Barangay Manresa, Quezon City after he sold one plastic sachet of shabu to a PDEA poseur-buyer, a press report from the agency said.
Further search on the suspect yielded another two plastic sachets of shabu and a tin case where the recovered sachets of shabu were kept.
The suspect now faces charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. He is under temporary custody of PDEA RO-NCR. (PDEA/RJB/JRCA-PIA-NCR)
