Overseas job fair in Paranaque set on July 5

PARAÑAQUE CITY, July 4 (PIA) -- The city government of Parañaqe will hold an overseas job fair on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Event Center, Building B of SM City Sucat in Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

The job fair was organized by the city government through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Office of City Councilor Benjo Bernabe and in cooperation with the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) and aims to provide more job opportunities to residents of the city.

“We are committed to help our constituents find work both locally and overseas. By organizing more job fairs, we give them more chances of getting good jobs that will enable them to support and create a better future for their families,” Parañaque Mayor Jun Bernabe said.

In a press statement, he said more than 50 companies will be taking part in the job fair offering a wide variety of job openings from skilled labor to professional career-type jobs.

City Councilor Benjo Bernabe thanked POEA for supporting the activity, and called on jobseekers to take part in the said job fair.

Interested applicants must bring ID pictures, resumé, diploma, transcript of records, NBI clearance and other pertinent documents.
