QCPD gives out police mobile numbers to schools
QUEZON CITY, July 6 (PIA) -- The Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) is opening their mobile phone lines to schools for easier response to emergencies.
They are urging school authorities and students to make use of this tool to communicate with police officers in times of emergencies, situations, and other concerns, and will facilitate quicker response to these issues.
In addition to setting up police assistance desks in schools and conducting school rounds, the 12 station commanders of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) have been told to give out their cellular phone numbers to school authorities and students.
According to QCPD deputy director for operations Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao, they hope students would also know the contact numbers of their station commanders.
The following are the numbers of the phones issued to the 12 QCPD station commanders:

Pagdilao explained that they want the school administrators and students to feel the presence of their police personnel, especially the station commanders, in their areas.
According to QCPD director Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega, the city is home to a total of 268 schools and universities, and this easy communication with police officials will ensure faster reporting of emergency or crime incidences in school vicinities. (RJB/AKG-PIA-NCR/QC-PIO)
