IGUIG, Cagayan, March 1 (PIA) -- The officialdom of Iguig town is set to host a healing mass which is expected to draw at least 20,000 individuals from all over Cagayan Valley region on March 20, at the Calvary Hills, Centro.
Mayor Juditas Trinidad said the healing mass will be conducted by Fr. Fernando Suarez, a known healing priest. After the mass, the healing proper will be conducted at the Calvary compound to accommodate thousands of expected guests.
She said all types of illnesses, even those who cannot afford to bear child, can attend the healing mass.
“We announce this to let the people all over the region to come and take the opportunity to undergo the healing mass. This is the first visit of the healing priest in the region,” Trinidad stated.
Iguig is considered to be the “holy land of the north,” and this is also the pottery center where the life-sized stations of the cross are located, adjacent to the city of Tuguegarao City.
In terms of security, the mayor has already requested the assistance of the police department to ensure peace and order in the area. (TCB/OTB-PIA 2)
