City police station aims to be the country’s best
SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela, July 4 (PIA) -- The Santiago City Police Office (SCPO) is aiming for the 4th time to be the country’s best city police station this year.
Senior Supt. Severino Abad, Jr, SCPO chief, said the SCPO is expecting to be best city police station this year but expressed satisfaction on being one of the top three city police stations in the country.
This year, Santiago City, General Santos City, and IIigan City Police Offices are the top three contenders that are vying as 2011 best city police stations.
Abad said being in the top is already a feat and a challenge to police officers of Santiago to perform more, considering the many police stations in the country.
The city police chief is waiting for the validation team from Camp Crame any day this week and is now preparing the needed documents for the scheduled validation.
Meanwhile, the Ilagan police station is also one of the country’s top three 2011 best municipal station.
Superintendent Roberto Bucad, Ilagan police chief, said he and his men are elated that the Ilagan police station is among the top three police stations in the country.
The two other police stations that are vying as best municipal station are Glan police station in Saranggani and San Pedro police station in Laguna. (PIA- Isabela)
