CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela, July 12 (PIA) -- Residents from far-flung barangays in the city are benefitting from the mobile clinic of the city government.
Lanie Palma, radiologist technician of rural health unit, said the mobile clinic is equipped with a minor operating room, dental and x-ray machines.
She said the mobile clinic is visits barangays at least twice a month with the RHU personnel and are also conducting seminars and distributing medicines to village residents.
“The city government has prioritized the purchase of the mobile clinic in order to render health service right at the barangays which are underserved," Palma said.
The city has 65 barangays and majority of the barangays are too distant from the city health facilities. It was purchased by the city government last year, aimed at addressing the needed health services in the interior barangay residents in the city. (PIA-Isabela)
