“Bantay Esteros” were hired in Barangay Saluysoy, Meycauayan whose functions include information campaigns on the proper garbage disposal and apprehension of violators who dump waste in the esteros.
A trash boat worth P300,000 was installed in Obando, Bulacan which will operate for a year.
A P7-million sewerage treatment plant (STP) was established in Meycauayan. This STP will service Barangay Zamora whose wastewater will be treated here.
The Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) was upgraded in Marilao, Bulacan worth P150,000.
A sanitary landfill was opened in Sasmuan, Pamapanga’s fish port to be the depository of waste from the stalls that sell aquatic products.
