PRC-Baguio all set for June 30 Nursing licensure exam
BAGUIO CITY, June 17 (PIA) - - The Professional Regulation Commission – Baguio Regional Office (PRC-Baguio) is all set for the conduct of the June 30 to July 1 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) in its four test venues.
According to PRC-Baguio Regional Director Teofilo Gaius Sison Jr., a total of 10,692 registered for said exam of which 4,932 will take the exam in Baguio City; 2,287 in Dagupan City Pangasinan; 1,193 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija and for the first time 1,419 examinees from Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and Cagayan Valley will take the NLE in Laoag City, a new test venue for PRC-Baguio.
For Baguio City, exams will be administered at the Baguio City National High School (BCNHS), Baguio Central University, National University, Pines City Colleges, and St. Louis University – Laboratory High School.
For Dagupan City, testing centers will be at the Colegio De Dagupan, Lyceum Northwestern University, University of Luzon and University of Pangasinan.
For Cabanatuan City, it will be at the College of Immaculate Concepcion, Good Samaritan College and Wesleyan University of the Philippines.
For Laoag City, testing centers are at the Ilocos Norte National High School and the Mariano Marcos State University.
According to Sison, all examinees must report to their assigned testing centers before 6:30am.
For room assignments, examinees can get it at the PRC-Baguio Website – http://prcbaguio.blogspot.com, where it will be posted starting June 15.
In case examinee's name is not included, misspelled, or there is discrepancy in date of birth or school and campus in the List of Examinees, call Billy Joe Pablo at telephone no. (074) 304-3180 or email at prcbaguio.application@gmail.com to effect the necessary corrections in the database, Sison advised.
‘The Program of Examination and updated List of Non-Programmable Calculators allowed to be used in Licensure Examinations are also posted at the said website for the examinees reference’, he added.
Sison also reminded examinees that with the inclement weather that may cause road closure or scarcity of transportation, they should go to the exam venues earlier, bring extra clothes, food and flashlights.
Meantime, Sison expressed PRC’s gratitude to the Dagupan City Government through Mayor Benjamin S. Lim, to the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija through Governor Aurelio M. Umali, to the Cabanatuan City Government through Mayor Julius Cesar V. Vergara, and to the Laoag City Government through Mayor Michael V. Fariñas, as well as to the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) local chapters, Philippine National Police , National Bureau of Investigation , Department of Education , and the colleges/universities concerned for their support and cooperation for the preparations and conduct of the said NLE exam.
