A meeting held last June 19 at the Office of the Provincial Governor to discuss among others, the memorandum coming from the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) IV-A Office of Civil Defense (OCD) to finalize the detailed preparation of the upcoming earthquake drill.

Last June 17, the province particularly the town of Bacoor experienced a minor shock with intensity 2 as the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that a 6.0 magnitude hit nearly 80 kilometers southwest of the town of Candelaria in Zambales just after 6:00 a.m. (CPG/RBF-PIA 4A, Cavite)
