CSC-Aklan accepting applications for prof, sub-prof exams

KALIBO, Aklan, July 26 (PIA) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Aklan Field Office is now accepting applications for the Career Service Professional and Sub-Professional Paper and Pencil examinations scheduled on October 21 in Aklan.

CSC-Aklan Director II Ma. Cynthia Aranas said the tests in Kalibo, Aklan is the only schedule for the province this year.

Aranas added that even as the application period will run until September 2012, she called on Aklanons planning to take the examinations not to wait for the deadline in filing their applications as accepting applications may stop any time once the CSC Regional/Field Office reached their respective quotas.

For Aklan, initial deadline set by the CSC is on Friday, August 31.

Qualified to take the Career Service Examinations are Filipino citizens at least 18 years old at the time of filing of application regardless of educational attainment and who have not taken the same level of examination in less than 3 months.

Both levels of examinations have an examination fee of P500.

In applying for the examinations, each applicant must submit a properly accomplished application form available at any CSC Regional/Field Office, four pieces of recently-taken passport-size I.D. pictures with white background with handheld nametag and original and photocopy of any valid I.D. card with picture, date of birth, signature and authorized head of issuing agency.
