TB CURE RATE IN ZAMBO CITY INCREASES - CHO

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Aug. 09 (PIA) – - The City Health Office (CHO) revealed that Tuberculosis (TB) cure rate in the city has improved to 93 percent from the then merely 75 percent cure rate. Health Officer Dr. Rodel Agbulos said it is not only the cure rate that has tremendously improved but TB case detection as well. Agbulos said the case detection for TB was noted at 45 percent to 75 percent in 2007. Latest figure for case detection rate is now at 96 percent.
