MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte, Dec 17 (PIA) -- Seventy barangays in Maasin City started their Christmas holidays with a parade of star lanterns, Parol 2012, Friday afternoon, December 14, a kick-off of the different activities prepared by the city government. Different “ parols” were paraded in the city proper starting 5 p.m. after which a parol was hanged at designated areas in Anatalio Gaviola Public Plaza, in front of the Maasin Cathedral.
