MGB DECLARES AREAS IN DAVNOR VILLAGE AS NO HABITATION ZONE

TAGUM CITY, Feb. 20 -- The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) has declared three puroks in Barangay Mambing in New Corella in Davao del Norte Province as no-habitation zones after a landslide occurred in the said areas on Saturday, February 17.
“We will no longer allow the evacuated families to come back to their old residences as it is no longer safe for them,” Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) Executive Officer Sonio Sanchez said Tuesday.
