TWO MODERATELY STRONG TREMORS HIT N. LUZON AREAS OVER THE WEEKEND

SINAIT, Ilocos Sur, Nov. 13 (PIA) -- Two moderately strong earthquakes rocked some areas in Northern Luzon over the weekend but these did not caused any damage to property, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) based here.
Local Phivolcs Researcher Porferio De Peralta said that last Sunday a 3.4 magnitude quake with epicenter located at 3 kilometers southeast of Agoo, La Union with a depth of 22 kilometers occurred at 2:32 p.m.
De Peralta said intensity 2 was felt in Baguio City.
