PDEA nabs watch-listed drug personality in Lanao del Norte

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, March 6 -- Another watch-listed drug personality (WLDP) in the province of Lanao del Norte was arrested last March 1, 2012 at around 11:30 a.m. by the operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 10, Lanao Provincial Special Enforcement Team (PSET) led by IO 3 Rubylyn S. Alfaro, team leader in a buy-bust operation at Purok 5, Barangay Saray, Iligan City.

Director III Roberto S. Opeña of PDEA-10 identified the suspect as Minda Dacula Pantallano, female, 40 years old. Bought from her by the PDEA poseur buyer was one piece small-sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. Also recovered from her possession and control were two pieces large, two pieces medium-sized, rectangular heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets believed to be shabu, and eight pieces of empty rectangular size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.

Recovered drug evidences were brought to Iligan City Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory for proper examination while cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared and readied for filing appropriate charges in court. (EOR/JC-PDEA/PIA 10)
