Iligan city to hold “One HeART for Iligan”

ILIGAN CITY, Lanao del Norte, Feb. 11 – The city of Iligan is set to hold a fund-raising activity this national arts month celebration.

With the theme, “One HeART for Iligan,” this activity is aptly for those individuals and families affected by tropical storm Sendong, said City Councilor Michelle Sweet, Chairperson on Committee on History, Culture and the Arts in the city council.

Hence, Councilor Sweet said she is now coordinating with the different groups of artists in the city for the planned activities in line with the National Arts Month Month Celebration in Iligan (NAMCI) this entire month of February.

Per Presidential Proclamation 683, series of 1991, National Arts Month is observed in the Philippines every month of February, Sweet cited. (CIO/Lorry Gabule/PIA-10)
