PRC bares activities for 51st anniversary in Cagayan Valley

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) – – Various activities are in the pipeline to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Professional Regulation Commission(PRC)  in the Cagayan Valley Region, according to the commission’s regional director.

During the special episode of Tipon-Tipan sa PIA, OIC Regional Director Juan Alilam Jr. said that among the activities to be conducted are the medical mission and bloodletting on June 20, fellowship night with the officers of the Accredited Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO) on June 21, and tree planting on June 25.

The activities, according to Alilam, are in line with the celebration’s theme ‘Bagong Pilipinas: Pagpupugay sa Makabago at Mapanlikhang Propesyonal ng Bayan’.

The director also shared that the PRC has formally opened “appointment slots” in “PRC Online Systems” for examinees from Batanes who will take the Teachers’ Licensure Exam in September this year.

The “appointment slots” for the Teachers’ Licensure Exam is in addition to the annual examination for the Licensure Exams of Criminologists and Teachers in Cauayan City scheduled to be held in August and September.

“This was made possible by the interaction of our agency with the provincial government of Batanes. This is to address their grievances in transportation, board, and lodging, and fare expenses,” Alilam added.

Other services include Renewal of Professional Identification Card (PIC); Application for examination; Initial Registration; Authentication and Certification; State Board Verification; and Application for the Petition of Change of Status, Change of Name, Change of Date Birth, and Reversion of Marital Status.

“We will bring all our services directly to Batanes Island for the first time after the pandemic,” he added. (OTB/MDCT/PIA Cagayan)
