ODIONGAN, Romblon (PIA) — Some 10 local food cart vendors in Odiongan town, Romblon received Negokarts from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Romblon.

This after the DOLE Provincial Office here and the Local Government Unit of Odiongan, Romblon, as its Accredited Co-Partner, awarded Negokarts to the 10 livelihood beneficiaries, who are local food cart vendors of the town.

During a short program, Odiongan Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic emphasized the importance of giving livelihood grants amounting to P300,000 for economic stability and sustainable livelihood.

The initiative is part of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), which provides assistance through grants to individuals and groups and can be used to start a livelihood project and expand or upgrade an existing project. (PJF/PIA Romblon)
