President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joins the nation in paying tribute to Dr. Jose P. Rizal on the 127th anniversary of his martyrdom in a ceremony at Rizal Park, City of Manila, on December 30, 2023.
After the simultaneous flag-raising ceremony across various historical sites nationwide, the president lays a wreath at the Rizal National Monument.
PIA Director-General Jose A. Torres Jr. and other government officials also attended this year’s commemoration with the theme ‘Rizal: Pundasyon ng Kahapon, Isinasabuhay Ngayon’.
