14 Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics just for Northern Luzon

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga (PIA) – To ensure quality healthcare services reach the farthest, the government has procured 83 Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Patrol Clinics for dissemination to 82 provinces, 14 of which were given to the Northern Luzon provinces.

In a symbolic rite coinciding with the groundbreaking of the Clark Multi-Specialty Medical Center, no less than First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos administered the ceremonial turnover of Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics to the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Apayao, Cagayan, Quirino, Isabela, and Nueva Vizcaya.

Inspired by the First Lady’s Lab for All, Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa aptly described the initiative as a step closer to realizing universal healthcare in the country.

“These endeavors mark a pivotal step towards realizing universal health care in our country. Together, let us continue to work to ensure quality healthcare is not just a privilege but a fundamental right for all Filipinos,” said Herbosa about the fully equipped mobile clinic.

Previously, Mrs. Marcos also led the distribution of mobile clinics to the provinces Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales in the Central Luzon region.

All units of the mobile clinic are fully equipped for medical, diagnostic, and referral services to bring healthcare to Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas. (CLJD/SFV, PIA Region 3-Pampanga)
