1,500 parents of SHS students in Camiguin benefit from AKAP school aid program

MAMBAJAO, Camiguin (PIA) — Through the Tulong Eskwela Program, 1,500 parents of senior high school students in the province received assistance to support their families’ educational needs.
The initiative, spearheaded by House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez under the administration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., aims to alleviate the financial burdens faced by parents in supporting their children’s education.

The distribution of aid was made possible through Camiguin Lone District Rep. Jurdin Jesus Romualdo and Gov. Xavier Jesus D. Romualdo. Both officials, along with other provincial leaders and representatives from the five municipalities, led the handover of assistance to the island’s beneficiaries.
