170 families graduate from 4Ps program in Isabela

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) — Over 170 families from the towns of San Mariano and Angadanan in Isabela have officially graduated from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) after reaching a self-sufficient living status.

In Angadanan, Mayor Joelle Mathia Panganiban presented each beneficiary with P10,000 to support their livelihood.

She also pledged continued support from the local government to ensure the sustainability of the program’s benefits.

According to DSWD Regional Director Lucia Alan, the families met the necessary criteria to exit the program based on thorough assessments.

Additionally, 15 4Ps beneficiaries from San Mariano were recognized for graduating from college.

Alan also led the distribution of P1.425 million in Enhanced Support Service Interventions to 57 4Ps beneficiaries in Naguilian.

Each recipient received a sari-sari store package, designed as part of their eco-cultural livelihood and income-generating projects. (OTB/MGE/PIA Isabela)
