20 Zambales MSMEs join Panaliwan Trade Fair

SUBIC, Zambales (PIA) — About 20 food and non-food micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Zambales joined the 4th Palinawan Trade Fair held at Waltermart Subic.

It is a week-long showcase of local manufactured and processed by local MSMEs.

DTI Provincial Director Enrique Tacbad said that this one of the strategic priorities on upskilling, upgrading and upscaling of the MSMEs in Zambales.

“This activity includes not only the showcase on our MSMEs but also include business forum, business matching, entrepreneurship mindset, consumer education and consumer service excellence among others,” he said.

Tacbad also ensured that DTI Zambales will continue to work with local government units, private organizations and other stakeholders to further enhance and significantly assist the MSMEs as the backbone of the Philippine economy towards inclusive economic growth.

This year’s trade fair highlighted the two priority industries namely, coconut and bamboo. (CLJD/RGP-PIA 3)
