2023 Hybrid National Trade Fair to showcase sustainable innovations, digital solutions for MSMEs

QUEZON CITY (PIA) — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP) is gearing up to host the highly anticipated 2023 Hybrid National Trade Fair. The event, will take place August 23 to 27, will at the Megatrade Halls in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.

The event aims to showcase a wide range of products and materials that adhere to these principles, as well as digital innovations for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with focus on sustainability and eco-friendliness, 

Leading the initiative is BDTP Director Marievic Bonoan, who believes that the fair presents a valuable opportunity for MSMEs to highlight their sustainable offerings and foster connections with potential customers and partners.

In collaboration with the DTI Regional Operations Group, the event will feature more than 250 MSMEs from all 16 regions of the country. These exhibitors will display and sell a diverse array of non-food products, including furniture, home décor, apparel made from indigenous textiles, fashion accessories, personal care items, and health and wellness products.

In addition to the product showcase, fairgoers will have the chance to explore various special settings and pavilions, each offering a unique experience. These include the Philippine Sustainability Pavilion, which will feature bamboo, coconut, natural fibers, and grass; the Innovative Coconut-based Products Cluster; the Rural Agro-enterprise Partnership for Inclusive Development and Growth Project (RAPID) Special Setting; and the Philippine Green Living and Holiday Décor Pavilion, among others.

The 2023 Hybrid National Trade Fair aligns with the DTI’s digitalization strategy, as it seeks to expand the market access of participating MSMEs through e-commerce platforms and social media channels.

All exhibitors at the fair will be featured in the upcoming edition of Sisidlan: The Official NTF 2023 Digital Product Catalog, providing potential buyers with comprehensive information and contact details.
