PASIG CITY, (PIA) — Good news! In celebration of the Philippines and Japan Friendship Week, around 25,000 job opportunities await Filipino job seekers in Japan.
According to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), the special job fair dubbed “Konnichiwa Pilipinas! Kumusta, Japan!” will be held at the 3rd floor of Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, Quezon City on August 1, 2024 (Thursday), from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Some 15 licensed recruitment agencies are expected to participate in the activity to offer jobs in construction, medical and healthcare, hotel and restaurant, customer services, and others.
The DMW and the Embassy of Japan aim to provide a venue for Filipino job seekers to access legitimate recruiters and to learn about gender dynamics and potential risks associated with overseas labor migration through short information sessions on Japanese-gendered work culture. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
