TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) —Four Cagayano athletes from the municipality of Tuao are in China to compete in the 2024 ASEAN-China 3×3 basketball friendship games for 18 and under.
The Cagayan Provincial Information Office (PIO) said that the players are students of Lyceum of Tuao namely Prince Charles Labayne, L.A Gabriel Clores, Frank Vincent Quinto, and Jake Aevan Luga are in Malipo County of Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province.
Coach Antonio Calimag, Team Leader Atty. Rogelio Taliping Jr., and Assistant Team Leader Atty. Mark Angelo Taruc are with the players, competing against teams from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and China.
The tournament, part of the ASEAN-China Year of People to People Exchanges, started on July 14 and will end on July 20. (OTB/MDCT/PIA Cagayan)
