4 municipal police station in Mountain Province are drug-free workplaces

BONTOC, Mountain Province(PIA) — Four municipal police stations in the province recently were recently given certification of being a Drug-free workplace by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera. These are the MPS of Sagada, Sadanga, Natonin and Paracelis.

The achievement of drug-free workplace status aligns with the mandate of Dangerous Drugs Board Regulation No. 13, Series of 2018, which requires all government offices to implement policies ensuring a drug-free environment for public officers and employees.

This accomplishment is a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of the police personnel. This underscores the MPPPO’s commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace and delivering efficient public service,said PLtCol. Bernardo Wong, Deputy Provincial Director for Operation.

“This achievement is not merely a recognition but a challenge to sustain a drug-free environment. It is a call to action to remain vigilant and steadfast in our fight against illegal drugs. Let this declaration serve as an inspiration to other units within the provincial police force to strive for the same distinction,” he added.

Sadanga Mayor Adolf F. Ganggangan congratulated the personnel of Sadanga MPS for their award, which he said is a proof that true to themselves in their responsibility against the use of illegal drugs. (VJLT-PIA Mountain Province)
