More than half of Filipinos believe that former President Rodrigo Duterte should answer for the killings related to his war on drugs, results of a commissioned survey by of pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS) show.
In its media release on March 19, the SWS said that its survey indicates that 51 percent of Filipinos agree that Rodrigo Duterte should be held accountable, and 25 percent disagree.

Meanwhile, 24 percent of the Filipinos are either undecided (14 percent) or have no opinion (10 percent) on the issue.
The question fielded by the survey focused on whether former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte should be held accountable for the killings related to illegal drugs during his administration.
The exact phrasing of the survey question (the source language is Filipino; English translation included) was:

The Visayas recorded the highest number of Filipinos who agree that Duterte should be held liable at 62 percent; followed by Northern Luzon at 60 percent, Balance Luzon at 49 percent, Central Luzon at 48 percent, Mindanao at 47 percent, the National Capital Region at 45 percent, and Southern Luzon at 44 percent.
The survey interviewed 1,800 adult respondents nationwide: 300 in Metro Manila, 900 in Balance Luzon (or Luzon outside Metro Manila), 300 in the Visayas, and 300 in Mindanao.
The sampling error margins are ±2.31 percent for national percentages, ±3.27 percent for Balance Luzon, and ±5.66 percent ach for Metro Manila, the Visayas and Mindanao.
