‘A Christmas with the Flutes’ brings harmony at Paco Park

MANILA, (PIA) — Christmas is in the air! Feel the magic of the season as the Pililla Flute Ensemble lights up the night with classical melodies and festive favorites.

Dubbed “A Christmas with the Flutes,” the musical night will unfold on Friday, December 20, 6:00 p.m. at the historic Paco Park in Manila – a serene and iconic landmark that offers the perfect backdrop for a musical celebration of the holidays.

Let the ensemble’s festive renditions of iconic holiday arrangements like “Sleigh Ride” and “Jingle Bells Forever” fill your hearts with warmth, along with known classics like Schubert’s Marche Militaire and Rossini’s William Tell Overture among others. Adding to the evening’s charm is Aly Itoralde’s enchanting solo performance and a narrated musical retelling of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Comprising 41 talented members, the Pililla Flute Ensemble was founded by Mr. Ian Jasper Fery during the pandemic as a beacon of hope and friendship for musicians in their community. Under the expert guidance of their conductor, Ms. Cyrel Lobarbio, the ensemble continues to touch hearts and inspire audiences with their performances, from community concerts to winning accolades in the Asian Music Game 2021.
