Abra Acting Guv stresses accreditation of gov’t facilities, services

Abra Acting Governor Atty. Russell Bragas, during the first Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Provincial Capitol on Monday, January 6, 2025, highlights the need to ensure compliance of all provincial departments and offices to the requirements including those for the accreditation, licensing, certification of various government facilities and services in the province.

BANGUED, Abra (PIA) —  Acting Abra Governor Atty. Russell Bragas urged provincial department heads to closely monitor and accomplish compliances to ensure that government facilities in the province including programs and services are licensed, accredited, and are legally operating.

“We should be at par with the national standards, that is the least that we could do. Please department heads, the first part of this year ket tutukan tayo nu mabalin ket deadline-an tayo, dayta ket nayon ti mandato tayo, ” he said.

Bragas also shared their appeal to Social Welfare Secretary Rex Gatchalian for technical assistance in the licensing of the Bahay Pagasa which has been operating without a license for a year.

“Amin nga offices tayo, dapat kumpleto ti compliances na, rebbeng na laeng na maka-comply tayo,” he said.

The Acting Governor expressed gratitude to the different departments and national line agencies for their support and cooperation in bringing relevant and appropriate government assistance and services to Abra communities.
