Abra local water district launches online bills payment

BANGUED, Abra (PIA) – The Metro Bangued Water District (MBWD) launched its cashless payment system on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

MBWD led by General Manager Kathleen Balbin Tawantawan partners with ECPay to make the payment of water bills easier and more convenient to stakeholders.

“Less hassle manen panagbayaden,” said Jaleemar Andanan-Teneza on the MBWD facebook post.

Another netizen commented that the new payment option will help her pay her bills on time.

MBWD shared that the partnership with ECPay enables clients to pay online via Gcash or through partner stores and banks like 7/11, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Pay, eBIZ, Rang-ay Bank, Tambunting Pawnshop, Home Credit, and VIP Center.

A convenience fee of P15 will be charged to all transactions in all partner payment platforms.

Partial payments and payments of disconnected accounts will not be accepted. Payment for disconnected accounts can only be paid at the MBWD Office in Zone 4, Bangued.
