Abra police showcases creativity, sparks hope in Christmas light opening

The Abra Police Provincial Office lights up with the opening of the ‘Pailaw sa Kampo’ featuring decorations and lights set up by the different police departments in the province.

BANGUED, Abra (PIA) – The Abra police headquarters in Bangued, Abra lights up with the bright and colorful Christmas lights and decorations of the different units of the Abra Provincial Police Office (PPO).

Abra PPO Provincial Director PCol. Jeremias Oyawon shared that the opening of the provincial police office Christmas lights and decorations to the public aims to showcase the creativity of the uniformed personnel and spark hope this Yuletide season.

“Sapay kuma ta pasyaren yo met dagitoy decorations. It’s a safe place ket you are all welcome. Haan kayo kuma agbuteng ti pulis tayo, we’re here as your public servant,” he stressed.

Oyawon also said that the ‘Pailaw sa Kampo’ is also a contest for the different Abra Provincial Police units that  showcased creativity through various decorations such as the Belen, Christmas tree, twinkling lights, and parols.

“This is also for you to see how creative, haan lang nga trabahong pulis, pati gayam iti kastoy nga panagdecorate ket kaya ti pulis nga aramiden,” he said.

The Provincial Director added that the annual Christmas lighting at the Abra police headquarters has become a tradition that symbolizes the hope and light that the birth of Jesus Christ brings.
