QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — In line with the upcoming National and Local Elections (NLE) on May 12, the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines reaffirms its commitment to a safe, credible, and democratic election.
The NCRCOM, through the Ground Task Group-NCR led by Col Wilfredo B Manalang III PA (MNSA), recently participated in the Unity Walk and Peace Covenant Signing for the National and Local Elections (NLE) 2025 held at Sagrada Familia Parish Church in Caloocan City.
The event was aimed at promoting peaceful, fair, and honest elections. Likewise, the event highlighted key messages from officials, pledges for clean elections, ceremonial blessings, and the signing of the peace covenant.

NCRCOM reaffirmed its commitment to election security by collaborating with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Commission on Elections (COMELEC), and partner agencies to safeguard the electoral process. As the election nears, NCRCOM remains resolute in ensuring a safe, credible, and democratic election.
The event was organized by the Northern Police District (NPD) and the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), with COMELEC, NAMFREL, Army-CDC Reservists, local candidates, and other stakeholders. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
