LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) — The local government unit of Alfonso Lista has announced the temporary suspension of tourism activities in the municipality on April 18 for the observance of Good Friday.
Executive Order No. 59 explained that the temporary suspension of tourism activities will allow both residents and visitors the opportunity to respectfully observe the religious solemnity of the day and contribute to a more peaceful and reflective atmosphere in the community.
Temporary closed on April 18 are the Municipal Eco Park 1000 steps, Bird Watching Site, Kalipkip – Busilac Eco-park, Gutong-guto River Picnic Adventures and Twin B Resort.
However, the Angel’s water park and the Cordillera Winery Farm Tourism Camp will remain open throughout the Holy Week.
Barangay officials, the Municipal Police Station, municipal tourism office and other concerned agencies are directed to assist in the effective implementation of the order. (MBL-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
