PASIG CITY, (PIA) — The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) announced a second collection for the victims of Typhoon Carina.
In a circular, Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula requested all parish priests, team ministry moderators and members, rectors, mission station priests, and chaplains in the Archdiocese of Manila to hold a second collection during all Masses on Saturday evening (July 27, 2024) and the whole day of Sunday, July 28, 2024.
“My heart and prayers go out to all those affected by the heavy rain and flooding,” the circular read.
Cardinal Advincula also extended his gratitude to churches and some residents who opened their doors to help those affected by the heavy rains and flooding. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
