Galido, commended the 9th Infantry SPEAR Division for its operational accomplishment and timely compliance to all guidelines directed to achieving the Army’s Transformation Roadmap (ATR) 2040 which aims to mold a word class, multi-mission ready, cross-domain capable soldiers.

During his visit to Camp Elias Angeles, on Monday, November 27, Galido toured the camp’s facilities.

The tour encompassed visits to the Suportador Farm, a once dormant space that previously served as a dumping ground for car spare parts but has now been converted into a flourishing vegetable garden.

Galido also visited the camp’s Emergency Response Company, 9th Division Training School and other recently erected structures.

“Pag inuna natin ang sariling interes, magiging komplikado ang ating trabaho. Remember that we volunteered, and let us not forget that our uniform should not be a privilege to push our interest. Yield personal interest, prioritize the organization’s  interest so that we can better serve the people.”

In light of the evolving landscape of army recruitment that now incorporates female soldiers, Galido also urged the troops to foster an inclusive environment characterized by respect and promote gender equality.

Lastly, he emphasized to each soldier the importance of prayer and self-care. Ensuring they maintain good health is not only beneficial for themselves but also ensures they return home without becoming a burden to their families.
