CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) – Forty senior high school students from Jones Rural School gained knowledge in leadership during a two-day Youth Leadership Summit organized by the 502nd Infantry Brigade’s 86th Infantry Battalion (86IB) in Jones, Isabela.
Lt. Col. Empire Angalao, commanding officer of 86IB, stated that the summit was successfully conducted in collaboration with the school and the Municipal Youth Development Office.
Angalao emphasized that the summit equipped the youth with vital leadership skills and instilled values of peace and service to the young generation.
The two-day summit included lectures, poster-making activities, and leadership exercises designed to enhance civic awareness and foster teamwork.
He noted that the 40 participating senior high school students were equipped with leadership skills and are now ready to take on active roles in their communities.
“The Youth Leadership Summit empowers young leaders to become responsible citizens and advocates for peace. Your leadership today shapes the future of our nation,” Angalao stated.
