ARTA commends MisOr for eBOSS excellence, unveils new digital programs

LAGONGLONG, Misamis Oriental (PIA)–Secretary Ernesto Perez of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) honored various municipalities and cities in Misamis Oriental for their excellence in implementing the Electronic Business One Stop Shops (eBOSS) in a ceremony recently held in Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental.

The commendation ceremony highlighted the achievements of local government units in establishing and improving digital processes and reducing bureaucratic red tape.

Sec. Perez presented certificates, plaques, and the Seal of eBOSS Commendation to the local chief executives of the municipalities of Villanueva, Balingoan, Salay, Medina, Sugbongcogon, Talisayan, Jasaan, Tagoloan, Manticao, Alubijid, and Laguindingan, as well as El Salvador City and Cagayan de Oro City.

He lauded the province for proactively adopting the eBOSS and its openness to ARTA’s innovations, emphasizing that it eliminates human intervention in document processing through digitalization.

The secretary thanked the cities and municipalities of Misamis Oriental for actively complying with eBOSS and embracing ARTA’s initiatives.

Misamis Oriental Governor Peter Unabia, along with board members, municipal mayors, and local officials, attended the event.

Following the commendation, Perez outlined ARTA’s upcoming initiatives under the Bagong Pilipinas program. He revealed plans to train and develop the new Policy Reform, Innovation, and Streamlining Management (PRISM) program, targeting 300 local government units and various government offices.

PRISM is an online platform offering Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) training, accessible anytime. This initiative aims to enhance regulatory management practices and empower more agencies to adhere to effective and efficient standards. (IJBD/PIA-10/Misamis Oriental)
