CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — The Department of Tourism (DOT) MIMAROPA office joins the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from March 31 to April 2, 2023.
ADEX Asia Dive Expo is known as the largest and longest-running dive consumer and trade show in Asia which returned as ‘ADEX Ocean Mission’ this year held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore.
The said expo featured the Tubbataha Reef and Palawan in the Philippine Pavilion with more than 22 dive resorts, airlines which include AirTrav, Cebu Pacific, and Philippine Airlines, and dive liveaboards selling Philippine dive packages.
In DOT Mimaropa’s Facebook post, the Philippine Pavillion featured photos and information about other tourist spots in the region—the amazing Puerto Galera; Tubbataha Reef Natural Park; Apo Reef Natural Park; sea cow or “dugong” encounter in wreck diving in Coron, Palawan; the province of Romblon for underwater macro photography; and the province of Marinduque.
Multi-destination dive trips are also offered by liveaboards, such as Solitude and Infiniti.
ADEX Mission 2023 dedicates its theme to all of the inspiring and wonderful women in the dive industry. It aims to celebrate, empower and connect women who dive or are interested in the underwater world and across the globe. (GATS/PIA MIMAROPA)
