CALAMBA CITY, Laguna (PIA) — Access to essential information on agriculture and fisheries in Calabarzon is now easier with the launch of the Agricultural Training Institute’s (ATI) e-Library, which opens to the public starting May 20, 2025.
The ATI Calabarzon e-Library is a digital platform designed to support farmers, fishers, students, researchers, and the general public by offering free and open access to a wide range of learning resources.
“As the catalyst, capacity builder, and knowledge bank of the Philippine agriculture extension system, this e-Library reflects one of the Institute’s key initiatives—promoting the flexible and accessible dissemination of knowledge across various media formats to empower our clients and stakeholders through continuous learning,” said ATI Calabarzon Director Rolando Maningas.
He added that the e-Library features a carefully curated collection of digital brochures, pamphlets, booklets, manuals, and other knowledge products covering major agri-fisheries topics aligned with the Institute’s banner programs and focus commodities in the region.
“Among the valuable resources available are materials on crop production, livestock, climate-resilient farming practices, organic agriculture, and agripreneurship,” Maningas said.
The e-Library can be accessed at https://aticalabarzon.web.app/home, where users can browse and download materials, search by topic or keyword, and stay up-to-date with the latest publications from ATI and its network of partners and stakeholders in the agri-fisheries sector.
The launch of the ATI Calabarzon e-Library also coincides with the celebration of Farmers’ and Fisherfolk’s Month this May, recognizing the vital contributions of these sectors to national food security and sustainability. (CCM, PIA4A/ATI4A)
