“Our barangay tanods are the unsung heroes who work day and night to ensure the safety of our neighborhoods. It is only fitting that we recognize their hard work and dedication to the well-being of our residents,” said Dolor.
The beneficiaries also received boots, rain coat, reflectorized vests; and high-tech flashlights that can be used when they are patrolling.
In addition to the cash incentives, the Provincial Government has extended free medical services to all barangay tanods in any public hospital within Oriental Mindoro that can be availed once a year.
Among the healthcare services that the tanods can avail of are free medical check-up, including laboratory tests; and free medicines.
