This is the  crucial reminder of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Abra to the Abreños for a safer and fire-free holidays.

BFP-Abra Provincial Fire Marshall FSupt Roberto Aragon on Monday, said that while people  enjoy the  Christmas festivities,  they should  remain vigilant  to avoid  the occurrence of destructive fires.

He also mentioned overloaded wirings and outdoor cooking as two of the two of the most unforeseen causes of fire.

To address concern on increasing fire incidents during  the holiday season,  BFP launched the “Oplan Paalala, Iwas Paputok 20223” which  aims to raise awareness on people’s safety and educate the community to ensure a safe holiday season.

Aragon reported that the  BFP fire trucks are roving around the communities daily to ensure safety.

“Agrovroving dagiti fire truck tayon everyday tatta bulan ti December tapno adda fire truck visibility ken nadardaras ti panagresponde dagiti firefighters nu adda uram [Our fire trucks this December are roving every day for visibility and for faster response if there are fire incidents),” he stated.
