Biliran to host first Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in PH

NAVAL, Biliran (PIA) – The province of Biliran is set to hold a record as host of the first Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in the country on August 26-27, to be held at Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) main campus in this town.

Some 17,000 targeted individual beneficiaries are expected to gather for the two-day Serbisyo Fair activity as anticipated by event organizers.

At least 23 national government agencies joined forces in extending different social services, like financial assistance payouts for the people of Biliran.

Medical and dental services, as well as distribution of medicines and wheelchairs, by the Department of Health (DOH), and from the DSWD, assistance to PWDs, senior citizens, and Indigenous peoples, will be undertaken.

Extension of services for other sectors, such as drivers and operators for the transportation industry, fisherfolks and farmers, for agriculture, are to be highlighted.

Also, services in the exercise of regulatory government functions such as licensing, passports, NBI clearances, among others, will also be made available during the two-day Serbisyo Caravan, it was learned. (MMP/RSV/PIA Biliran)
