BIR honors top taxpayers in Cagayan Valley

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) — The Bureau of Internal Revenue-Revenue Region 03 (BIR-RR3) recognized the top taxpayers from Cagayan Valley during the launching of the tax campaign in the City of Ilagan, Isabela.

BIR Deputy Commissioner for Operations Lawyer Marissa Cabereros recognized the contributions of the taxpayers in generating revenues for the country’s development and the benefit of all Filipinos. 

She emphasized that BIR’s responsibility is to collect taxes from income earners, and the revenue generated is vital for funding government programs, projects, and services that benefit the Filipino people.

Cabereros also acknowledged the taxpayers in the region for their commitment to paying the correct taxes, which contributed to the agency surpassing its collection target in 2024. 

She stated that the event was an opportunity to honor their efforts.

The top taxpayers recognized for the non-individual Category were the Baker’s Percent, Didipio Community Development Corporation, and Isabela GIO’s Commercial, Incorporated.

For the individual category, Dhemie Leo Condaya topped the list, followed by Jonathan L. Diaz, and Vicente Cup
