Bohol Muslims gather for one Eid at CPG Complex

CORTES, Bohol (PIA) — The Muslim community in Bohol will gather in a common location for the historic centralized Eid’l Adha at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex grandstand here on June 16.

Organized by the Bohol Muslim Community Peace Movement Inc. and the Office of Muslim Affairs with the support of the Bohol provincial government and the City of Tagbilaran, the first common gathering of Muslims here for solemn prayers here is expected to be a venue for Muslim communities of the Maranao, Tausog, and other Islamic tribes to gather for prayer and sacrifice in one location.

In an advisory for the Muslim communities and Balik Islam converts in the province, the believers of Allah will assemble at the CPG Sports Complex for the Eid prayers at 6:45 a.m.
