QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — To further boost financial literacy, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Department of Education (DepEd), and BDO Foundation signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to boost financial management skills among K-12 learners and teachers.
The agreement was signed by BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, and BDO Foundation President Mario Deriquito.
Secretary Angara vowed to intensify the dissemination of the learning materials produced under the partnership, particularly the lesson exemplars and videos for learners and teachers.
The collaboration is expected to ensure effective financial education programs for young learners and teachers in schools nationwide. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
